Federation Finance Assistant, Brindishe Schools
The role
We are currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant to work across our federation of schools on a permanent basis, supporting the federation finance manager and School Business Manager.
This is a full time, permanent post, working term time only at 35 hours per week, typically 8.30am – 4.30pm.
Location
The Brindishe federation comprises of Brindishe Lee (1 form entry), Brindishe Manor (2 form entry) and Brindishe Green (3 form entry), All 3 Brindishe schools are Lewisham Local Authority Primary Schools, providing an exciting education for children aged 3 -11 years, all walking distance from each other, we are a few stops from Charing Cross, Waterloo, London Bridge mainline station or a short walk from Lee, Hither Green, or Lewisham station.
This post will involve working across our Federation of schools on a weekly rota basis.

What we are looking for …
We are looking for a friendly, helpful, self-motivated, enthusiastic, and a person with an eye for detail to work across our schools, to provide financial support to the finance manager and Federation Team.

Salary details
Scale 3 : £28,545 - £28,977 term time only, Full time, permanent position.

Brindishe Manor is a forward-thinking, lively and ambitious Ofsted-rated outstanding primary school in the heart of Hither Green. We are part of a close partnership with two other highly successful local authority primary schools, Brindishe Green and Brindishe Lee. The schools are located within 10 minutes of each other and Brindishe Manor is in walking distance of Hither Green or Lee mainline stations (two stops from London Bridge ) or a short bus ride from Lewisham DLR.
We are looking for someone who…….
Is enthusiastic, capable and skilled to support the strategic development, general maintenance and upkeep of buildings, premises, and grounds of Brindishe Manor primary school to ensure we are providing a safe, secure, clean and warm environment for all children, staff and visitors
Will work closely, and in partnership with, the Premises Officer at Brindishe Manor and the premises staff teams across the Federation to affect a coordinated and timely service
Will work to the direction of the School Business Manager and Head of School, and be responsible for carrying out the duties of the post with regards to the council and school’s equal opportunities policies and shared values.
Is a problem solving, health and safety expert, highly organised and can demonstrate excellent communication skills and a can-do attitude.

This is a permanent post and an all year round (not term time only) at 35 hours per week, typically 8.30am – 4.30pm with 27 days holiday plus bank holidays each year
The Premises Officer will be on site during working hours unless his/her duties are required elsewhere.
